Ehemaliges Kaufmannshaus Erbaut 1721-1724 für die Tuchmacherfamilie Rehrmann nach Plänen des Aachener Architekten Mefferdatis. Bemerkenswert sind die Treppenhäuser mit Stuck- und Holzarbeiten im Aachen-Lütticher Stil sowie im Innenhof das Blausteinbecken mit dem Rehrmann- Wappen. Von der Mitte des 19. bis Ende des 20. Jh. Gymnasium bzw. Sekundarschule. Seit 1989 Staatsarchiv.

Former merchant’s house Built in 1721-1724 for the textile family Rehrmann by the Aachen architect Mefferdatis. Noteworthy are the elaborate staircases featuring wood carving and stucco in the Aachen/Liege style, as well as, in the inner courtyard, a stone water trough with the Rehrmann coat of arms. It served as a secondary and grammar school from the mid-19th to the end of the 20th Century, it is currently the State archive.
