St.-Johannes-Baptist-Kapelle Auch "Bergkapelle" genannt, erbaut 1712 an der Stelle eines Kapellchens aus dem 15. Jh. und in der 2. Hälfte des 19. Jh. erweitert. Kreuzigungsgruppe (1885) des Aachener Bildhauers Venth. Bis zur Fertigstellung der St.-Josefs-Kirche (1869) war die Bergkapelle das einzige Gotteshaus für die Unterstadt.

St. John the Baptist Chapel Better known as the "Bergkapelle", built in 1712 on the site of a former chapel of the 15th Century and enlarged in the late 19th Century. The crucifixion group (1885) is from the Aachen sculptor Venth. Until St Josephs was completed in 1869, the Bergkapelle was the only place of worship in the Lower Town.
